A. J. Kelton has presented on the topic of virtual worlds in Education both in the U.S. and Internationally and is the author of the ECAR Research Bulletin "Second Life: Reaching into the Virtual World for Real World Learning" and the EDUCAUSE Review Article "Virtual Worlds? 'Outlook Good'"
He is the founder and current leader of the EDUCAUSE Virtual Worlds Constituent Group and Founder and Chief Moderator of the Virtual Worlds Education Roundtable (http://www.vwer.org), a forum bringing together educators from all over the globe interested in discussing a wide variety of topics involving virtual worlds.
He is the owner of AFK Consulting, a company dedicated to providing services in support of virtual worlds, social media and networking, and Web 2.0 initiatives. Mr. Kelton holds a Masters Degree in English, Writing Studies from Montclair State and is currently a Doctoral student in the Educational Communication and Technology program at NYU..
Brendan O'Flaherty is professor of economics at Columbia University. He works in the areas of homelessness, housing, crime, race, and urban economics in general. Mr. O'Flaherty is an expert on local public finance and has worked with the Cory Booker administration to reform the finances of Newark, NJ.
